Synopsis.

Rosie Campbell has just turned thirteen. A teenager awaiting to be bitten by life's opportunities.

On the night of her birthday she is kidnapped by figures covered in black, no features are visible to her but what she witnesses will never make her the same again.

Kidnappers return her without a word, her family act as if it didn't happen and to make things even more peculiar a new arrival of a mysterious same sex family with children. Nothing unusual about that. Until the letters arrive, and photos of her mother land underneath her pillow at night. Of course, Rosie already has a mum, Brenda.

An awkward friendship is stricken up between her and the girl, Twink as she starts at her school. Weird things begin to happen, people begin to disappear and before she can help herself she finds herself thinking about what happened that night and whether it impacted on her classmates' lifes.

Introduction.

This is a seperate blog featuring the first three thousand words of my ongoing novel Lady of the Kryptonites.

This is still a work in progress so it won't be word perfect and bits and pieces may not make much sense.
